2011 Eagle Jaguar E-Type Speedster Lightweight

2011 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Speedster by Eagle will debut in 2011 the Salon Prive, supercar Concours d'Elegance and luxury, held at Syon House in west London on June 22 to 24, 2011.

Powered by a 4.7L 6 cylinder engine makes 310-hp with maximum torque of 340 lb-ft at 3600 rpm. Mated with a 5-speed gearbox, E-Type Lightweight Speedster goes from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph.

Machine connected to a five-speed manual transmission, which allows roadster to accelerate from 0-60 mph in fewer than 5 sec. Also, it can suppress a top speed of 160 mph (258 km / h).

E-Type Lightweight Speedster sports 16-inch tires on aluminum rims with a radius of stainless-steel, drilled and aluminum caliper disc brakes with vented 4-pot, double wishbones, adjustable shocks and stabilizer bars.

Styling Jaguar XK 5.0 Convertible

The driving position is accommodating, the design modern and ergonomically sound. The centre console is smartly arranged around a touch-screen monitor, which controls audio, sat nav and climate settings. Materials are expensive and build quality is excellent. There's a lot of plastic on display and the Jag can't match the tailor-made feel of a Maserati, but otherwise we can't fault the cabin. The rear seats are only useful for storage, but with a 300-litre boot and hatchback tailgate, the XK is reasonably practical. Well-equipped too, with heated, leather, electric and memory seats standard, plus xenon lights, sat nav and a CD changer. 10,000-mile service intervals are relatively short, but the bills are affordable for a sports car, while retained values are excellent. But, despite the lightweight construction, that thirsty V8 will still cost you. And, sleek as it is, we can't understand why the firm has fitted an old-fashioned electric pop-up aerial - it looks ugly and out of place on the elegant bodywork.

Built in a strictly limited number, 50, and costing around $800,000.00, the XJR-15 stemmed from Project R9R - a concept car developed by JaguarSport. The XJR-15 was designed by Peter Stevens, who went on to help develop the Mclaren F1. Its performance and limited build quantity make the XJR-15 one of the true Supercar of our time.
